Azuregaze

Netherlord's exclusive weapon

	Azure Cleave Basic Attack A 3‑hit combo. The final hit applies a random Bingdi Lotus half. Charged Attack consumes Lotus Seed to apply the missing half.
	Paired Knot Passive Skill Tap for Yang half, Hold for Yin half. Lets you control which lotus half you apply.
	Severance Dance Active SkillCooldown 6sCost 1 ◆ A two‑hit combo that puts you into Sword Stance. Hitting an enemy grants 1 Lotus Seed.

Standard Weapons

Gameplay

Netherlord is one of the most mechanically demanding companions — proper timing and input (tap vs hold) matter a lot. He has two phases: Neutral (building resources) and Union (burst damage). Your goal is to enter Union as often as possible by triggering Blooms.

Only MC gets icons in battle with Netherlord. They can be found right above MC's HP bar. Icon in blue shows that Union Phase is up, in pink - in possesion of a Seed, in green - Sword Stance.

Enemies get two halves of a lotus mark (Yin = red, Yang = blue). When both halves meet → Bloom triggers:

Deals big damage
Restores 0.5 Energy Charge
Reduces Union cooldown by 3 seconds

How to Apply Lotus Halves

When you enter Sword Stance (after Active Skill or 3rd basic attack), look at the enemy's flower:

Flower ingame visual — The flower can be seen directly on the enemy during the battle. Red Yin half is at the bottom, while Blue Yang half is placed at the top.

Neutral Phase Rotation

Short version: Support Skill & Active Skill → tap/hold → Charged Attack → 3x Basic Attacks → tap/hold → Active Skill → tap/hold → Support Skill

What each step does:

Support Skill → applies a half (prioritizes the missing one)
Active Skill → gives you a Lotus Seed + enters Sword Stance
Tap/HOLD (based on flower color) → applies correct half
Charged Attack → consumes Seed → applies missing half → guarantees BLOOM #1
3x Basic Attacks → final hit applies random half
Tap/HOLD again (from Sword Stance) → applies matching half → BLOOM #2
Active Skill (if ready) → gives another Seed
Tap/HOLD → applies correct half
Support Skill or Charged Attack → completes the next Bloom

Trigger Blooms as quickly as possible to reduce Yin-Yang Cycle cooldown and enter Union. This rotation is a baseline; in practice you can adjust based on cooldowns or replace some Bloom triggers with Soulguide Bell.

Union Phase (Burst Window)

Once in Union, your skills change:

Active Skill	Azure Ballad (costs 1 Energy, opens Rift)
Support Skill	Spectral Slash (3.1s CD, opens Rift)

Spectral Slash (opens Rift) → Azure Ballad (costs 1 Energy; makes next free) → Charged Attack (bonus damage; at R3 even higher)

Each Rift makes your next Azure Ballad free, allowing you to chain skills and extend your rotation.

Ardent Oath is best used during the enemy’s weakened state (after breaking their shield), and Fate Unforgotten is no exception, but it has its own mechanics. During the animation: 3 Dustbreak buttons appear. Tap each at the right moment:

Each perfect = 5% Max HP heal to you and Caleb
All 3 perfect = 20% DMG reduction for 15s

At R3: This ultimate can crit — huge damage increase.
